A hybrid cuprous oxide/silver oxide (CuO/Ag2O, 50-50 wt%) nanostructure was synthesized through a one-step process and implemented as sensing layer in a planar gas sensing platform integrating conductometric and thermal-conductivity measurement principles. The device was characterized for hydrogen monitoring at a low operating temperature of 50 °C. It exhibited rapid response (1-7 s), linear behavior up to 8 % vol. H2, and high selectivity towards H2, demonstrating its suitability for low-power hydrogen leak detection in smart industrial monitoring systems.

Abstract
A hybrid cuprous oxide/silver oxide (CuO/Ag2O, 50-50 wt%) nanostructure was synthesized through a one-step process and implemented as sensing layer in a planar gas sensing platform integrating conductometric and thermal-conductivity measurement principles. The device was characterized for hydrogen monitoring at a low operating temperature of 50 °C. It exhibited rapid response (1-7 s), linear behavior up to 8 % vol. H2, and high selectivity towards H2, demonstrating its suitability for low-power hydrogen leak detection in smart industrial monitoring systems.File in questo prodotto:
