Acanthocinus aedilis (Linnaeus, 1758) (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae) new for Sicilian fauna. The occurrence of Acanthocinus aedilis (Linnaeus, 1758) in Sicily is reported for the first time on the basis of material recently collected on Mount Etna. The biogeographical importance of the presence of Acanthocinus aedilis and of other phytophagous species feeding on Pinus laricio calabrica (Loud.) Cesca et Peruzzi on Mount Etna is pointed out.
