It’s a common opinion that the concept of the undertaking is a complex phenomenon to be statistically measured. The model of a familiar enterprise can be applied in different sectors, particularly in the manufacturing one. The aim of the present work is to underline that the choice of the latter, between all the types of enterprises, is due to its tight connection with the drawing role assumed in all the economic systems because it allows a greater development, in terms of both employment and income, involving all its providers of goods and services.
