The interactions of weak nonlinear waves in an electrically polarizable, viscous and heat-conducting medium are investigated. It is shown that three modes exist, and the propagation is ruled separately by either the Burgers’ equations or the equation of heat conduction. The interactions affect the phase velocity only, and explicit expressions are given.
