Six dogs affected at the same time by leishmaniosis and transmissible venerea} tumour were reported. The colonization of the tumour by the parasites was suspected in 4 cases, by citology; however only in 2 ones a massive presence of Leishmania amastigotes was detected by histology and immunohistochemistry. The probable interference beetwen the two diseases and the significance ofthe parasitization were discussed.
