Two dogs were admitted for bilateral skin alopecia and weight loss. Both dogs were cryptorchid and displayed pendulous preputial sheath, prostate hypertrophy and increased levels of circulating estrogens. Transabdominal palpation and ultrasonography revealed the presence of neoplastic retained gonads. At surgery, torsion of spermatic cord was also detected in the enlarged neoplastic testes. In both cases, histology confirmed the diagnosis of Sertoli cell tumour which was the primary responsible of the feminising syndrome. Complete remission of the symptoms ccurred by few months after orchiectomy. The association of cryptorchidism, functional Sertoli cell tumour and torsion of spermatic cord has poorly been reported in literature.

Abstract
The association of cryptorchidism, functional Sertoli cell tumour and torsion of spermatic cord has poorly been reported in literature.Pubblicazioni consigliate
