Two adenomas of the uterine tube were diagnosed in 4 and 10 year old bitchs, through a critic review of previous reports. In the first case, the neoplasm was asymptomatic and accidentally discovered, while the second one showed a severe clinical picture, with abdominal distension and a large cystic tumour of 30 cm in diameter. Pathological examinations demonstrated the lesions to arise from the tubal fimbriae in case I and from the ampullary/isthmic region in case II. In both cases, histology revealed irregularly branched papillae with a major smooth muscle cell component, lined by tubal-type columnar epithelium. Mild nuclear atypia and lacking of mitotic figures were consistent with a benign behaviour of the lesions. Immunohistochemistry was also performed to support the diagnosis of tubal adenoma.

Abstract
Immunohistochemistry was also performed to support the diagnosis of tubal adenoma.Pubblicazioni consigliate
