The Atlantic Coast of Nicaragua is the poorest and more marginalized part of the country. His society is complex and multietnic, caracterized by a slow time passed in working in the field and working at home, solidarity between family and friendly networks, narrations between old and new generations through which knowledge and tradicion pass. In the modernization process the interventation of the technologies, that never work in a neutral way, has produced important cultural changes.
