A slip of extensor apparatus (up to 40%) of the thumb was used as a double pedicled tendon flap to reconstruct a complex defect of the Ulnar Collateral Ligaments of both thumb interphalangeal and metacarpophalangeal joints after an electric saw injury. This novel surgical technique showed good results and is proposed by the authors as a useful tool in case of complex injuries of Collateral Ligaments of the Thumb joints.

Abstract
