A comparative measurement of specific heat capacities, in the wide temperature range between 2 and 500 K, and of low frequency mechanical spectroscopy was carried out. The potentiality of low-temperature specific heat measurements in the characterization of the nanostructure of amorphous polymers was confirmed.
