Translating English as a Lingua Franca

The constantly growing diffusion of English as a lingua franca (ELF) is a linguistic phenomenon with wide political, social and cultural implications. This book provides a groundbreaking analysis of the challenges that ELF poses to the translator’s profession and offers suggestions on how such changes should be taken into account in translation training.
