The Legislative Decree no. 29/2011 sets out the penalties to be applied in case of infringement of the provisions laid down at the European Union level (Commission Regulation no. 504/2008) as regards methods for the identification of equidae. The decree contains instruments capable of ensuring, within our state, the application of Community law. The Authors carry out an analysis of the penalties.
