The present study is a sample of a teaching unit dealing with an ESP (English for Special Purposes) text. It is based on the text «Carnosine - The New Anti-Aging Supplement » by Marios Kyriazis MD. The analysis is carried out through exercises at different levels (text domain, field of specialization, theme, authorship, register, reading strategies as well as text analysis at word, lexical, grammatical level, coherence).
