The authors study statistically the possible correlations between the presence of antibodies against Toxoplasma gondii, in a sample of women, with obstetric affections, and some diseases noticed in anamnesis, as well as dietetic or personal practices. A significant correlation between Toxoplasma gondii infection and past nervous disorders and a highly significant one between the presence of Toxoplasma gondii antibodies and the typhus-like or similar syndrome, were demonstrated. The epidemiological significance of uncooked or underdone meat consumption was further confirmed, whereas there appears to be no significant risk of infection through close proximity with animals, especially the cat.

Abstract
The authors study statistically the possible correlations between the presence of antibodies against Toxoplasma gondii, in a sample of women, with obstetric affections, and some diseases noticed in anamnesis, as well as dietetic or personal practices. A significant correlation between Toxoplasma gondii infection and past nervous disorders and a highly significant one between the presence of Toxoplasma gondii antibodies and the typhus-like or similar syndrome, were demonstrated. The epidemiological significance of uncooked or underdone meat consumption was further confirmed, whereas there appears to be no significant risk of infection through close proximity with animals, especially the cat.Pubblicazioni consigliate
