A non-specific haemagglutination inhibitor fraction against parvoviruses H-1 and X14 was obtained and purified from pooled human sera. Two main peaks of non-specific haemagglutination inhibition activity were revealed for both viruses and showed a quite different dependence of activity on incubation temperatures. Biochemical data suggested that the purified fractions corresponded to an alpha-2-globulin, containing mainly glycoprotein and some lipoproteins.

Abstract
A non-specific haemagglutination inhibitor fraction against parvoviruses H-1 and X14 was obtained and purified from pooled human sera. Two main peaks of non-specific haemagglutination inhibition activity were revealed for both viruses and showed a quite different dependence of activity on incubation temperatures. Biochemical data suggested that the purified fractions corresponded to an alpha-2-globulin, containing mainly glycoprotein and some lipoproteins.File in questo prodotto:
