A multi-block model for the evaluation of seismic permanent displacements of slopes has been applied to the case-history of the Calitri landslide, reactivated by the 1980 Irpinia-earthquake. The model allows performing displacement analysis of slopes accounting for both the change in slope geometry during sliding and the cyclic soil shear strength reduction. A one-dimensional decoupled seismic response analysis was carried out in order to define reliable acceleration time-histories along the slip surface and in the centre of the sliding mass. Parametric analyses were carried out varying the residual values of the angle of shear strength of the soils along the slip surface. The obtained results in terms of vertical component of the slope permanent displacements are in a fair agreement with post-seismic field observation

Abstract
The obtained results in terms of vertical component of the slope permanent displacements are in a fair agreement with post-seismic field observationPubblicazioni consigliate
