The acoustic behaviour of vitreous superionic alloys (AgI)x(Ag2OB2O3)1−x has been mesured for frequencies of ultrasound between 15–65 Mhz and temperatures in the range 1–20 K. The presence of an absorption peak, absent in vitreous B2O3 whose height seems to be connected with the AgI contents in the alloys has been revealed.
