Prostaglandins (PG), and particularly Prostaglandins E2 (PGE2) act as fine modulators of the immune response. We have demonstrated a relationship between PGE2 and thymic hormones, and some data obtained by us could be explained assuming a T cell differentiation activity by PGE2. In order to understand if the modulatory action of PGE2 on mature effector cells could be related to effects of PGE2 on T cell differentiation, we have examined the distribution of thymus subsets following in vivo administration of 16,16-dimethyl-PGE2-methyl ester (di-M-PGE2). In this work we report part of the results of a systemic study, performed by means of flow cytometry.

Abstract
In this work we report part of the results of a systemic study, performed by means of flow cytometry.Pubblicazioni consigliate
