A natural case of 5 months old cockrel showing a solitary lymphoid tumor measuring 10 cm in diameter has been recorded. Based on the clinical lesions and hystopathological changes, the disease condition was diagnosed as a classical type-A- Marek’s disease. The death of the bird suffering with the above malignant tumor appeared to be due to either severe aplastic anemia or of heart failure as the organ was very much thickened and heavily infiltrated with the lymphoid cells.
