The files of 25 patients, 14 M, 11 F, affected by rolandic epilepsy and followed in our out-patient Unit, have been reviewed. The following data came out: high familiarity for epilepsy (24%); years, consistent negativity of neuropsychologic and neuroradiological assessment; extreme variability of seizures frequency, type and symptoms and of the EEG paroxysms distribution, importance of sleep as a clinical eegraphic activation procedure and possible pathological association with parasomnias.
