The stability consts. of simple and mixed complexes of Cu(II) with EDTA (L) and some amino acids (A = glycine, phenylalanine, and tryptophan) were detd. potentiometrically in aq. soln. at 37° and I = 0.15 (NaClO4). The ternary species CuLA and CuHLA are present. The coordination type of these complexes is discussed.
