Formation consts. of ammonium sulfate, phosphate, oxalate, and citrate complexes were detd. by potentiometry at 37° and ionic strength 0.3 ≤ μ ≤ 0.5 mol/dm3. The species [NH4L] (L = sulfate, oxalate, citrate), [NH4(HL)] and [NH4(H2L)] (L = phosphate and citrate) were found. The data at different ionic strengths were fitted to an empirical Debye-Hueckel type equation. The relevance of these complexes was evidenced in some urine samples.
