Abstract
Nowadays several depollution strategies are available to reduce/eliminate from aqueous media recalcitrant sulfonamide antibiotics (sulfa drugs), bioactive and ubiquitarious pollutants of soils and watercourses known to induce bacterial resistance. Here the last 5-year issued biological, chemical, and physical methods finalized to decontaminate waters polluted with sulfa drugs are reviewed with special attention to procedures that make use of porous adsorbent materials and their applicability to real waters.File in questo prodotto:
