La percezione dei comportamenti delinquenziali in un campione di adolescenti del Sud Italia

Many researches have focused on the analysis of the antecedents and individual characteristics of deviant behavior, but little is known about the normative attitudes. The purpose of this study was to conduct an exploratory survey on the perception and moral beliefs about deviant behavior. We evaluated 100 students belonging to two high schools of the city of Cittanova (RC) to whom was administered a revised version of the questionnaire ISRD-3 (International Self- Reported Delinquency) and a rating scale for moral evaluation of deviant behavior. The results showed that the deviant adolescents in our sample are less than 5. However, it was possible to collect attitudes as drawing graffiti, illegally downloading from the internet, making their own justice, signaling the Police car. It has also emerged a difficulty to correctly conceptualize and categorize rights and duties. The results, discussed in the light of the literature, provide useful information on most popular attitudes among adolescents in Southern Italy.
