A third annual balanced account of silver coming from Umma (BM 110126) is studied here afteredited in D’Agostino - Pomponio 2004. This text preceded directly the other two (ŠS 9-IS 1), since is dated by the year name of Šū-Sîn 8. Together with it the article presents another tablet (BM 110144) which has a good deal of entries in common with the “capital” of BM 110126, but it is not a copy, because it seems to limit itself to the record of the entries for the Central Office of Umma, but does not have the section of the expenditures.

Abstract

A third annual balanced account of silver coming from Umma (BM 110126) is studied here afteredited in D’Agostino - Pomponio 2004. This text preceded directly the other two (ŠS 9-IS 1), since is dated by the year name of Šū-Sîn 8. Together with it the article presents another tablet (BM 110144) which has a good deal of entries in common with the “capital” of BM 110126, but it is not a copy, because it seems to limit itself to the record of the entries for the Central Office of Umma, but does not have the section of the expenditures.
