The complexity of the Mediterranean basin’s migration processes creates a lot of issues. In this article we explore the attitudes of a group of: a) teachers, towards migration and second generation pupils (Study 1); b) second generation’s students, on integration processes, education, culture of origin and the Italian one (Study 2). The techniques used are those of classical psychosocial research. Results seem to delineate a favorable framework characterized, in Study 1, by positive attitudes on immigrants and second-generation students and, in Study 2, by a moderate orientation to biculturalism and dual membership. Some ambivalences exist in both studies.

Abstract
The complexity of the Mediterranean basin’s migration processes creates a lot of issues. In this article we explore the attitudes of a group of: a) teachers, towards migration and second generation pupils (Study 1); b) second generation’s students, on integration processes, education, culture of origin and the Italian one (Study 2). The techniques used are those of classical psychosocial research. Results seem to delineate a favorable framework characterized, in Study 1, by positive attitudes on immigrants and second-generation students and, in Study 2, by a moderate orientation to biculturalism and dual membership. Some ambivalences exist in both studies.Pubblicazioni consigliate
