A few shells of Aclis trilineata Watson, 1897 are reported for the upper bathyal of Southern Tyrrhenian Sea, expanding the known areal of this species; the Mediterranean distribution is discussed and some biogeographic implications are suggested. The infraspecific variability in shell morphology is also discussed.

Abstract
