The exhaustion of fossil fuels compromises sustainable development. This paper reports a study of the feasibility of an agritourism business aiming at producing renewable photovoltaic and piezoelectric energy. It evaluates the positive environmental impact of strategies to promote restructuring projects of rural businesses. The research examines not only the economic benefit for the farm, arising from the use of piezoelectric energy, but also the socio-economic benefit (positive externalities) occuring with the reduction of CO2 emissions.

Abstract
The exhaustion of fossil fuels compromises sustainable development. This paper reports a study of the feasibility of an agritourism business aiming at producing renewable photovoltaic and piezoelectric energy. It evaluates the positive environmental impact of strategies to promote restructuring projects of rural businesses. The research examines not only the economic benefit for the farm, arising from the use of piezoelectric energy, but also the socio-economic benefit (positive externalities) occuring with the reduction of CO2 emissions.File in questo prodotto:
