Un nuovo codice simbolico di "reciprocità non-scambievole" tra uomo e donna

Il transito ontologico richiesto dalla ideologia della differenza sessuale prevede il passaggio dal pensare la donna come altro del Medesimo al pensarla come il totalmente altro, come diversità irriducibile. Questa metànoia parte dalla datità biologica dell’essere due in natura, maschio e femmina, e dalla consapevolezza che nessuno e nessuna realizza in sé il tutto. Costruire un noi reciproco senza (con-)fondersi e senza (pre-)dominare sull’altro sesso, imparando a mettersi in relazione e rispettando le specificità e le sensibilità di ciascuno(a), diviene, pertanto, il progetto educativo più impegnativo in questo nostro tempo. Per questo viene proposta la “reciprocità non-scambievole” come consapevolezza che non si tratterà mai di una vera e propria reversibilità delle identità e dei ruoli tra maschio e femmina, ma di una presa di coscienza sia della diversità sia del proprio limite ontologico rispetto all’altra irriducibile configurazione di genere. Abstract The ontological transition demanded by the ideology of sexual differences between males and females requests us to move from thinking of women as one of the Same to thinking of her as a totally different Other, a diversity that is held to be irreducible. This change of perspective (metànoia) begins with the biological reality of being essentially of two natural types, male and female, and the realization that nobody is a whole all by him- or herself. In order to construct a reciprocal ‘we’, without (con-)fusing the two and without (pre-)dominating over the other gender, and respecting the other’s specificity and sensitivity, becomes, therefore, one of the most challenging pedagogical projects of our times. For this reason the notion of a “non-mutable reciprocity’’ is proposed, based on the recognition that there will never be a complete reversal of gender identities and the roles males and females. The introduction of such a construct can serve as an instrument for raising awareness of both the diversity of males and females and the ontological irreducible configuration of gender.
