Nuove povertà globali, virtualità e manipolazioni comunicative

L’articolo propone una lettura dei nuovi contesti della postmodernità globalizzata, che sta portando all’illusione dell’onnipotenza individuale supportata da strumenti tecnologici sempre più sofisticati ed efficienti e rafforzata dallo sganciamento dagli altri, dal rifiuto del “noi”, dal pensarsi indipendenti da tutto e da tutti. Occorre un’adeguata ed attenta riflessione dei perché di questa crisi planetaria, così come occorrono nuovi paradigmi che aiutino ad interpretare gli attuali contesti, le nuove povertà (non solo quelle economiche), i nuovi strumenti comunicativi virtuali e i conseguenti problemi dei soggetti. Per far ciò è necessario recuperare il senso più profondo dell’essere “umani”, cioè quella capacità di divenire costruttori di società che abbiano al centro il rispetto di ogni persona e della vita in tutte le sue forme. The article proposes a vision of the new contexts of the globalized postmodernity, which is leading to the illusion of the individual omnipotence supported by the ever-increasing sophisticated and efficient technological tools and strengthened by the disengagement from the others, by the rejection of the “We”, by thinking of him/herself independent from everything and everyone. We need an adequate and careful reflection of the reasons for this global crisis, as well as new paradigms that help to interpret the current contexts, new poverty (not just economic one), new virtual communication tools and the consequent problems of the individuals. To do this it is necessary to recover the deepest meaning of being “human”, that is, the capacity to become builders of societies that have at the center the respect of every person and of life in all its forms.
