In this preliminary article I just present the Roman Provincial coinage in the name of Kyme, focusing on the iconographic choices of this mint during the Roman Empire. By detecting favorite themes or subjects and trying to find a likely explanation for them, it will be possible to shed light on the wider scenario of the whole regional area and in comparison to other nearby cities as far as regarding the historical events and the local religious traditions.
