On the occasion of the two-day Conference celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Messina Declaration on Open Access, representatives of Italian Universities and Research Centres signed the Road Map 2014-2018. The Road Map focuses on the 'Green Road' as the Open Access leading strategy in Italy and on the implementation of institutional mandates to deposit scholarly literature in Open Access repositories and on to move towards a national policy for the Open Research Data.
