Obituary of the Hungarian philosopher Ágnes Heller, a pupil of Luckacs, a careful and watchful interpreter of the most significant events of the Twentieth Century. A woman who gave testimony until the last day of her life of care for philosophy as a privileged place in which to deal with nihilistic and ideological drifts. A philosophy interpreted as experience and not as contemplation, as a heritage of ideas to be carried from the past to the future, as an interpretation of the darkest aspects of history, and of that space of freedom for the action of man called chance.
