A narrative is a cognitive process that involves the mind of both the author and the reader in a dialogue whose foundations lie in the relations between conspecifics. An analysis of written narrative is compatible with the art field following the results of neuroscience: Gallese’s studies on narrative recognized the artworks as the true essence of humanity and the art as a sort of spokesperson. This paper aims to study the continuous dialogue between the author and the beholder through the artwork and territorial images in particular. The state of absolutely active fruition by both the author and the spectator involves cognitive processes that need some phenomenological analysis techniques, which seem to characterize the recent studies relating to images in general.
