This essay develops some remarks concerning gender issues, starting from the problem of anti-discriminatory laws and policies. The main theses stem from the slogan of Beijing’s Conference, held in 1995, when participants urged humanity to «look at the world through women’s eyes». Starting from that purpose, the essay aims at fulfilling two main objectives: 1) updating that slogan in relation to the current pandemic crisis, especially as far as unpaid care work and work-related issues are concerned; 2) elaborating some of the main principles of XX century feminism and of legal feminism, for which anti-discrimination policies must include the idea of «sexual difference».
