In F. H. Jacobi’s last published book On Divine Things and Their Revelation the notion of origin serves a distinct function in defining the real nature of both rationality and existence. Though this text presents a set of issues that can be traced back to Jacobi’s first writings, it also introduces new details regarding the relation between God and human beings. This essay analyzes this relation and tries to bring to light Jacobi’s idea concerning the divinity of the order of being.
