Crítica y productividad de las instituciones: el quiasmo entre Roberto Esposito y Michel Foucault

El objetivo de mi ensayo es mostrar la presencia del pensamiento de Foucault también en las últimas obras de Roberto Esposito, a saber, las dedicadas al pensamiento institucional. Trataré, por tanto, de mostrar la proximidad de la trayectoria de Esposito con la de Foucault, a partir de su método, que privilegia el diálogo con el “afuera” de la filosofía, así como con respecto a un tema central para ambos, a saber, el de la relación entre poder y vida. El resultado de la relectura que Esposito hace de Foucault me parece configurarse como la posibilidad de una rearticulación del nexo entre biopolítica y pensamiento instituyente, del que emerge un institucionalismo renovado tanto en su estatuto teórico como en su praxis política, gracias a una mediación institucional más eficaz y a una centralidad restablecida de la política. EN: Criticism and productivity of institutions: the chiasm between Roberto Esposito and Michel Foucault Abstract: The aim of my essay is to show the presence of Foucault’s thought also in Roberto Esposito’s latest works, namely those dedicated to institutional thought. I will therefore try to show the proximity of Esposito’s path with Foucault’s, starting from their method, which privileges the dialogue with the “outside” of philosophy, as well as with respect to a central theme for both of them, namely that of the relationship between power and life. The result of Esposito’s rereading of Foucault seems to me to be configured as the possibility of a rearticulation of the nexus between biopolitics and instituting thought, from which emerges a renewed institutionalism both in its theoretical statute and in its political praxis, thanks to a more effective institutional mediation and a re-established centrality of politics.
