Man's work must become respectful of the environment, not only of the "working" environment, which in any case represents an endless emergency in Italy, but of the environment as nature, with its sufferings and its ecological demands now ultimate, which no one - if not man himself - can collect. Young people who refuse work, which is much talked about today, do so not only for reasons of wages or life needs, but also because they realize that the jobs proposed are often not of a "sustainable" type. The intensive use of technologies and the increase in production rates, in the context of a globalized economy - today in crisis - based on competitiveness, puts the relationship between man and nature in crisis.
