We live in a complex society characterized by profound and rapid changes that, highlighted by scientific and technological progress, make it increasingly interconnected. These changes also affect the educational system forcing schools to actualize new methodologies in order to make the educational offer more effective, adherent and congruent to the peculiarities of students. Serious Games fit into this context, which thanks to their ability to simulate different aspects of experience and to make students acquire and enhance multiple skills, represent not only a real cultural revolution, but also a possible way forward to promote specific changes and achieve certain goals.
