The aim of this essay is to consider the most important theoretical issues that characterised the dialogue between Jean-Luc Nancy and Roberto Esposito. The hermeneutic choice I have made in order to discuss their dialogue is to focus on the writings in which one explicitly addressed the other, in a dialogue that was as direct as possible, in particular, therefore, certain interviews and the introductions that each of the two offered to the translation, in French or Italian, of the friend-philosopher. The theoretical cores that will be analysed concern, essentially, four areas: the ‘end of philosophy’ and its relationship with politics, the question of community, the themes of freedom and the body.

Abstract
The aim of this essay is to consider the most important theoretical issues that characterised the dialogue between Jean-Luc Nancy and Roberto Esposito. The hermeneutic choice I have made in order to discuss their dialogue is to focus on the writings in which one explicitly addressed the other, in a dialogue that was as direct as possible, in particular, therefore, certain interviews and the introductions that each of the two offered to the translation, in French or Italian, of the friend-philosopher. The theoretical cores that will be analysed concern, essentially, four areas: the ‘end of philosophy’ and its relationship with politics, the question of community, the themes of freedom and the body.Pubblicazioni consigliate
