This article reconstructs the beginnings of the Fiat Concord, emphasizing two axes: the first one represents the industrial and economic projects that ended in the construction of the Ferreyra premise, in Córdoba; the second one focuses on the 'Fiat Ideology' and the paternalistic project drawn up by the company. It is argued that the collaboration of various personalities linked to the old fascist regime, exiled in Argentina during the 50s, influenced the elaboration of a strongly conservative vision of labour relations. The proposed paper is based on extensive unpublished documentation present in the Historical Archive Fiat in Turin and in various Italian and Argentine archives.
