This article focuses on ovarian cancer associated with paraneoplastic neurological syndromes (PNS) linked to anti-Hu antibodies. Starting from a rare and unusual clinical case, we review PNS from a global perspective, then focus on PNS related to ovarian cancer, especially those linked to anti-Hu antibodies, discussing the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and lastly, treatments. Specifically, the patient exhibited cerebellar ataxia and nausea concurrently with abdominal pain, leading to further investigations that revealed progressive thrombocytosis, a significant pelvic mass on imaging, and the presence of anti-Hu-D antibodies. Notably, surgical removal of a carcinosarcoma-like tumor resulted in a significant alleviation of the paraneoplastic symptoms.

Abstract
Notably, surgical removal of a carcinosarcoma-like tumor resulted in a significant alleviation of the paraneoplastic symptoms.Pubblicazioni consigliate
