In his work Constitutional Government in the United States, written at the beginning of the twentieth century, Woodrow Wilson defined the nature and duties of the President of the United States and his relationship with Congress and the Supreme Court. The structure of the American government, in his opinion, can be well understood only after having explicitly specified what is meant by constitutional government. Wilson played a key role in defining the federal structure and the constitutional tradition both with his political theories and as an eminent statesman. He therefore contributed to clarifying the processes of synthesis of American pluralism by identifying in the early years of his historical-political speculation the leadership of Congress and in the early twentieth century the presidential leadership, as centers of power of the American institutional system.

Abstract
In his work Constitutional Government in the United States, written at the beginning of the twentieth century, Woodrow Wilson defined the nature and duties of the President of the United States and his relationship with Congress and the Supreme Court. The structure of the American government, in his opinion, can be well understood only after having explicitly specified what is meant by constitutional government. Wilson played a key role in defining the federal structure and the constitutional tradition both with his political theories and as an eminent statesman. He therefore contributed to clarifying the processes of synthesis of American pluralism by identifying in the early years of his historical-political speculation the leadership of Congress and in the early twentieth century the presidential leadership, as centers of power of the American institutional system.Pubblicazioni consigliate
