Following their research for IgG anti-Borrelia burgdorferi antibodies in 313 equine sera from different areas of Sicilian provinces, using the Indirect Immunofluorescence method, the A.A. checked the results by testing 20 sera (12 positive and 8 negative) using the Immunoblotting method with specific antigens (B31 stain). The positivities were confirmed and the negative sera showed slight reactivities in several bands.

Abstract
