The issue of incidental-intentional learning has been having a great importance in researches on memory. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate that both children, incidentally and intentionally learning, perform equally if both can process information at the same level. It has been hypnotized that the level is closely linked to cultural, social and cognitive development of the subjects. Three groups of children have been tested: normal, culturally retarded and mentally retarded. The results confirm that when the subjects can process stimuli by definite cognitive, strategies, their incidental and intentional learning is similar. Culturally and mentally retarded subjects can not process information at the same deep level than normal children.

Abstract
The issue of incidental-intentional learning has been having a great importance in researches on memory. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate that both children, incidentally and intentionally learning, perform equally if both can process information at the same level. It has been hypnotized that the level is closely linked to cultural, social and cognitive development of the subjects. Three groups of children have been tested: normal, culturally retarded and mentally retarded. The results confirm that when the subjects can process stimuli by definite cognitive, strategies, their incidental and intentional learning is similar. Culturally and mentally retarded subjects can not process information at the same deep level than normal children.Pubblicazioni consigliate
