Migraine and epilepsy are common disorders of childhood frequently reported as occurring in comorbidity. Several patients with idiopathic epilepsy of infancy present with migraine and refer epilepsy and/or migraine diagnosed in infancy in their pedigrees. The prevalence of epilepsy and/or epileptic discharges and/or migraine in first-degree relatives was calculated.
