In a previous paper the vitamin C content in a sample of some horticultural plants was statistically studied by the authors, following a classification for ordered classes of content, obtaining very handy and helpful results. In this contribution the authors deepen this study to attain statistical results more detailed, for fresh weight of edible plant, to better compare them with the values of vitamin C recommended to intake daily. In particular, examining some data obtained in literature, the quantitative contents of vitamin C of the considered plants are analyzed as a sample variable. From the average value of vitamin C content, it is seen that it is necessary to follow a diet rich in this vitamin in accordance with the directives and recommendations from international and national organizations for nutrition to prevent diseases.
