Abstract: The paper starts with Nietzsche’s analysis of the age of machine and technique in order to find a correlation with the Posthuman Thought. The focus is not to discover an affinity between Nietzsche’s Übermensch and the Posthuman but to interpret the posthumanistic deconstruction of the classical humanistic concepts of human subjectivity – anthropozentrism, autonomy, identity – from the point of view of Nietzsche’s theory of Becoming and Übermensch. Like Heidegger has shown, the supreme will of power – to the becoming the character of being to impress – consists of allowing the technique each possible transformation and metamorphosys of reality and man. The Übermensch can be interpreted as prefiguration of the new human type, able to govern technically the deep power of Chaos. Finally, will be displayed the divergence between the posthumanistic ‘passing’ of human through contamination and hybridization and Nietzsche’s idea of beyond the man as ‘sense of earth’.
