The paper focuses on Roberto Esposito’s interpretation of the issue of community in Heidegger’s existential analytic. Through the analysis of the concepts of Being-with (Mitsein), Mitdasein and Weltlichkeit in Being and Time, Esposito underlines the singular-plural character of the existence. He considers the constitutive ecstatic openness of the Dasein the presupposition of the community understood as expropriation and decentration of the subject. According to Nancy’s thought of community, Esposito clarifies the ontology of being-in-common as connection of exposition to the world with dis-position between-us (entre-nous). Moreover, through the concept of immune tolerance he considers the building of the ego as the intertwining of identity and otherness, familiar and extraneous. In this sense, the existence takes on the traits of a ‘common singularity’.

Abstract
In this sense, the existence takes on the traits of a ‘common singularity’.Pubblicazioni consigliate
